Issue Summary #
The automation configured with a Trigger Card for regular intervals was not being executed as expected.
Root Cause #
After investigation by the engineering team, it was identified that the Cron Service, which is responsible for triggering scheduled automations at regular intervals, was not installed at the server level for the affected cluster.
Since the Cron Service was missing, the scheduler was unable to initiate the trigger card.
Resolution #
The engineering team installed and configured the Cron Service at the server level for the impacted cluster. Once the service was installed, the trigger card started firing at the configured intervals and the automation executed successfully.
