Issue: The automation did not trigger on a lead with the trigger condition as shown in the below screenshot:
Root cause: The automation configured for Email Activities will trigger only for the Emails sent via Email Campaign. The automation did not trigger on the lead because the Email was sent via Automation.

Since the Email was sent via an automation, the automation failed to trigger, the automation would have triggered in case the Email was sent via any Email Campaign.
