# Automation Trigger Card Not Executing at Regular Intervals

### Issue Summary

The automation configured with a **Trigger Card for regular intervals** was not being executed as expected.

### Root Cause

After investigation by the engineering team, it was identified that the **Cron Service**, which is responsible for triggering scheduled automations at regular intervals, was **not installed at the server level for the affected cluster**.
Since the Cron Service was missing, the scheduler was unable to initiate the trigger card.

### Resolution

The engineering team installed and configured the **Cron Service** at the server level for the impacted cluster. Once the service was installed, the trigger card started firing at the configured intervals and the automation executed successfully.
