Overview #
Some users may encounter an issue where the Send Email card in automation does not function as expected. Specifically:

When attempting to add the card, the screen turns black.

When editing an existing Send Email card, the screen goes blank.

Cause #
This issue occurs when one or more email templates in the Email Library contain special or invalid characters. These invalid characters prevent the templates from loading correctly in the Send Email card.
Solution #

Navigate to the Email Library.

Identify the template(s) that contain special or invalid characters.
Either:

Rename the template to remove invalid characters, or
-
Remove the template if it is not required.

Once corrected, the Send Email card will load templates properly and function as expected.
