Error – “Failed to Opt-in WhatsApp number”
This error is usually returned by Gupshup when the credentials provided are not correct.
– Test the API postman, using the below URL:
(Add the userID, password & WhatsApp number before testing)
You can get these from the WhatsApp connector’s configuration.
If you are getting – Authentication failed due to invalid userId or password in the API response then ask the customer to check the credentials. For any other errors, we can verify once in Postman then ask the WhatsApp provider(i.e Gupshup) to debug further.
