Smart Views frozen Issue

Issue Description:

  • The Smart View tab(s) remain stuck in the refreshing state (excluding custom tabs).
  • The screen freezes when attempting to open specific Smart View tab(s).

Recommended Troubleshooting Steps:

Please ensure the following checks are performed:

  1. User Permissions: Verify that the user has the necessary permissions to access the data. This includes checking for any recent changes in the permission template or reassignment of a different permission set.
  2. Team or Smart View Assignment Changes: Confirm that the user has not been moved to a different team or that the assigned Smart View has not been altered.
  3. Browser Cache Clearance: Ensure the user clears their browser cache to eliminate any temporary data conflicts.

Although reassigning the Smart View did not resolve the issue in this case, it is still recommended to attempt the above step before proceeding further.

Resolution Implemented:

The issue was successfully resolved by restoring the user’s default tabs using the “RESTORE DEFAULT TABS” option under the “List All Tabs” menu. Following this action, the Smart View tab functioned as expected.
