Issue: Although the ‘LeadSource’ lead field was not passed in the API payload of the first ‘Lead Capture API’ though which the lead was added, the ‘Lead Source’ was not getting updated when a value was passed later in the second ‘Lead Capture API’.
Solution: According to the default system behavior, the ‘LeadSource’ system field cannot be updated via ‘LeadCapture API’ even if the field was passed as null or was not passed at all in the initial Lead Capture API call body.
