Please do not build complex queries and reports.
Look at customer’s problem from a broader angle. Understand the business perspective. Look at all the tools we have in LeadSquared to give a complete, clean solution.
Think about whether the reports will work after 2-3 years.
Think about how complex queries can be debugged.
Things we shouldn’t be doing in reports:
- Data cleaning
- Dynamic computation in time ranges per lead
Can we use ETL jobs to simplify the report and improve performance?
Can we use webhooks to do the computation beforehand?
