Introduction to the Connector

The LeadSquared SMS Marketing Connector helps you connect with your leads via simple text messages. Once installed you can send SMS through automation or directly to single/multiple leads. Help Article for the integration of the Connector: https://help.leadsquared.com/configuring- leadsquared-sms-marketing-connector/.

Previously we used to give our Gupshup Account to the cx to use the SMS functionality under the“India Default/ International Default” setup, however, this has been stopped post rollout of DLT registration and henceforth the cx needs to bring in their own SMS vendor, however, India Default is still working for older tenants who have completed the DLT registration and get the necessary
configuration done from Gupshup team (via LSQ).

Currently, we Support the below-mentioned SMS vendor currently for integration with LSQ:

  • Gupshup
  • MSG91
  • Kaleyra (Catered through another connector named: Kaleyra SMS)
Pre-Requisites

Removal/Change of Vendor in the Connector

The vendor cannot be changed once the connector has been configured if there is a requirement to change the vendor, then the connector needs to be removed and then re-installed, post reinstalling when you configure the connector again, you will again get the option to select the Vendor again and do the necessary configurations.
Note: if the cx is using India default, be extra cautious in removing the connector since once removed India Default will not appear again in the dropdown as it has been marked obsolete now.

India Default Configuration/Account Number/FQ’s

Currently, we are not supporting India Default as our SMS Connector. All the customers must bring their own SMS vendors to integrate with the Lead squared account. The existing customers who are using India default must and completed the DLT registration can still utilize the services. Please follow this help article for the process related to DLT registrations: https://help.leadsquared.com/mandatory-dlt-registration-for-sms-services-in-india/

All the SMS templates must be approved from the DLT platform by the vendor and the same has
to be mapped to our LeadSquared Gupshup account. The account details of India default Gupshup
account are as follows:

  • 200157093 is transactional
  • 2000157094 is promotional (it is transactional with DID scrubbed)
  • 2000183926 is promotional
