Issue with SMS Sent for the CTM Connector

Issue: For the CTM SMS connector for sending SMS via Automation, the ‘From’ field of the Connector has selected the Lead Owner’s Phone Number option but the activity that is being posted has the value of Default Number in the ‘From’ field. The Lead Owner has 3 valid phone numbers.

Observation: For the CTM Connector the behavior is that the user phone number should be synced in the connector configuration. This we need to verify, If the CTM number is not synced then automatically it will use the default number that is selected during the Connector configuration.

The phone number associated with the lead owner is NOT mapped in the connector configuration which is why the default business number was picked as the “From” address.
