Facebook/Instagram Lead Ads connector – Unable to connect Pages.

Issue: #

Users are encountering an issue where the list of pages for a given Facebook account cannot be loaded, and the ‘Select Page’ option is not reflecting.

Error: When connecting pages, Select Page option is not reflecting.




Context:  #

Meta recently revoked user access for pages, causing pages not to appear when attempting to connect.

Resolution: #

Please follow these steps to resolve the issue. 

Steps to be performed on https://www.facebook.com/<PageName>/
Ex.: https://www.facebook.com/MavenVarukt
  1. Login to facebook.com: Use credentials with appropriate page access, make sure this user has connected the same account in Connector.
  2. Access Pages: Click on “Pages” on the left-hand side menu.
  3. Page Settings: Click on the page you are trying to connect and look for the “Settings” option on the left-hand side. 
  4. Verify User Access: Ensure the LSQ connecting user is listed under ‘People with Facebook access.’
  5. Click on “New page Experience” to assign the right access. 

  6. Add New User (if necessary): If the user is not listed, click ‘Add New’ on the right-hand side.

  7. Search and Add User: Search by name, email address, or Facebook profile ID (found on the website URL after facebook.com/).
  8. Grant Full Access: Provide full access privileges to the user.
  9. Verification: If the user still doesn’t appear, consult the Facebook team for further assistance.
  10. Post-Access Configuration: After granting user access, proceed to Profile >> Settings & Privacy >> Settings >> Business Integrations. Remove the LSQ Lead Ads Connector app from the list. If you don’t see ‘Business Integrations,’ switch back to your main account, follow the path Profile >> Settings & Privacy >> Settings >> Business Integrations, and locate the LSQ app there.


  11. Optimizing Account Connection: Return to LSQ and attempt reconnecting the same account. Ensure you select all necessary permissions and pages, even if the customer isn’t currently running campaigns on certain pages. It’s advisable to connect all pages during setup to prevent potential future issues related to pages. If needed, these pages can be managed or removed later from the LSQ connector view.
