Missing Columns in CSV – Mavis

< 1 min read

Issue: When we are importing a .csv file in Mavis, we are receiving the ‘Missing Coumns in csv’ error.

Solution:

>Even if the uploaded file is in CSV format, it may not be in the required CSV format. We recommend using CSV UTF-8.

>There is a blank space in the column header in the Excel file. Remove the blank space from the column header, save the field, and upload again. In the below screenshot, you can see for column G there is a header with the name “City”. Initially, it looks like it’s fine but when you select that cell we can see that there is some blank spaces after “City”. We need to make sure there is no blank space.
