Please be informed that whenever a field in the form is read-only, other validations like ‘Required’/’Mandatory’ will not apply to them.
Example, in the below form highlighted fields are:
-Mandatory
-Read only
-and also Empty!
But we will be able to save the form with no value in these fields. Since they are read-only, validation of ‘mandatory’ will not work on them and I will be able to save form with them being empty.
