Google Meet connector issue | Adding new account

< 1 min read

Issue:

Customer (Scaler) was unable to add a new account to the google meet connector and was getting the below error:

The above error is expected because Google has not whitelisted the Leadsquared domain at their end, so it throws the error.

The domain verification (App review) is still in progress, and we are yet to hear about the ETA part.

Next step of Action:

However, whitelisting from the Admin console account can be done following the below steps. (You can pass those details to the customer so they can do it at their end)

1.       Sign in to your organization’s Google Workspace as a Super Administrator and go to Google Admin Console

2.       Navigate to Security > Access and Data Control > API Controls and click on “Manage Third-Party App Access”

3.       Click on “Add New App” and search using the Client ID to mark the Google Meet connector as “Trusted”. Click here to copy the Client ID – 175896384397-r5fmhrd97eegi65ivun0r7jtsersuudl.apps.googleusercontent.com

Post allowing this, the account can be added to the Google Meet connector.
