Question: What is the string character of an activity String field?
Solution: The character limit is 200. If you want to send more than the character limit, you can use  large text fields in CFS which can support 1000 characters.


Question: What is the reason for activity not getting captured for payment capture?
Error – String is mandatory
Solution: Activity detail view is enabled in the activity type recently. When ADV is enabled, Title is mandatory field. It’s product behavior.  To remove Title as mandatory, you have to disable the Activity Details View.


Question: Why is Task owner change is not happening post the lead owner got changed?
Solution:  The task owner change on lead owner change functionality works in such a way that if the task owner and lead owner are same in that case only the task owner will change on lead owner change.
Say,
Lead 1: Current Owner is User1 and Task 1: added on Lead 1 with Owner of task as User1.
Task 2 is added on Lead 1 where Owner of task is User2.
Now Changed the owner of Lead 1: from User1 to User3.
All the associated task on Lead 1, where Owner was User1 will be update to owner User3 now even though Task 2 was created on Lead 1, but as owner was User2 for that task and lead owner was User1. for that task owner will not be updated.


Question: Why the activity is showing in UI even when the activity delete API shows success response? 
Solution: This is the behavior of API and our platform team will get this sorted in the end March 2024.

Question: Why is there a difference in Activity times on Activity history?
Solution: We have two fields in Activity table one is created on time and other one is activity date time (which is available in form and can be populated while creating activities)

1- Time shown in left of activity is Created On time (DB value) which is basically the current time.
2- Time shown below the activity is the activity date time field which could be current time or the past time.


Question: Why does the window keep rotating when trying to edit a comment on a lead from the Activity History page.
Solution: This usually happens when the activity does not have any custom fields in it to edit. Thus the page keeps loading when the users try to edit the activity. To resolve this, need to recreate the activity from the UI with the valid custom fields that are editable.


Question: Can we bulk update a specific activity?
Solution: Yes, it is possible to filter the affected activities and bulk update the required field.
