Issue Faced: Email Templates have have lots of use case based on the business needs, recently Karma Group a travel based company wanted to add a countdown in their Email Template. So they added the HTML code but whenever they tried to save the template no error was shown but the countdown got removed from the Template automatically.
So when we asked for the code of the countdown they shared the HTML code which had script tag in it. In LSQ Email Templates script tags are not allowed and that’s the reason why the countdown values were been removed automatically when tried to save. However, the client wanted it because they wanted their leads to see the countdown so that they get notified that the offer is going to end in that particular time frame.
Solution: So when checked with the DEV team, as a work-around instead of using script tag there is this website https://www.sendtric.com/ where we can add our own countdown conditions and it will generate HTML code for the dropdown by using table tag and not script tag and hence the business use-case is solved.
