Scenario: How do I notify a particular user or sales manager/admin user when the status of the follow-up task is not updated and gets overdue.
Solution / Workaround:
Step-1: One can create a Rules and notification which triggers on task reminder.
Step-2: You may set a condition by selecting particular task type or any task
Step-3: Post an appropriate activity/update a lead field, when the task reminder is triggered.
Once the above process completes, one can create a automation where the trigger is Activity creation/ lead update and check If still, the task status is overdue? i.e if true, then one can notify the desired user through automation and achieve this requirement.
