Issue: Unable to mark ‘Phone’ lead field as unique for some Leadsquared accounts.
Reason:
1. Could be possible there are duplicate leads in the account.
2. Due to different phone number formatting, the duplicate entries are present in the database even after merging them on the UI.
Solution:
1. Identify if the duplicate entries or leads are present in the system with the help of the report “List of Duplicate Leads”, in case present, merge them and try marking the field as unique.
2. In case the first method doesn’t work, then it is required to contact the DEVELOPMENT team to have this issue resolved from the back-end.
NOTE: Make sure you involve the ‘Success engineer’ in case you are contacting DEV team for the resolution as it may incur extra charges.
