All about UAT Environment

What is UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Environment:

LeadSquared UAT environment is a mirror-image of a customer’s account setup in a different environment.



The UAT environment is intended to help customers with risk mitigation of changes in the following areas:


  1. Integration between LeadSquared and other systems through API
  2. Changes in Complex Automation
  3. Impact of changes in lead and activity schema on Automation and Integration
  4. Changes in forms and processes
  5. Using it as internal demo/training account.


The UAT environment will have:


  1. Copy of all users from live account to UAT account with a suffix “.uat”
  2. Copy of sales groups, teams and permission templates
  3. Copy of all lead/activity configuration i.e. lead forms/lead fields/activity forms/activity fields
  4. Copy of all rules/webhooks – in disabled state
  5. Copy of all automation – in unpublished state


The UAT will not have:


  1. Landing Pages
  2. Email Campaign/ Email libraries
  3. Custom Reports
  4. Lapps and Connectors/App Marketplace.


Important Key Points:

01. For UAT Environment login: https://uat.leadsquared.com/

02. All users will have UAT accounts with suffix .uat. For example: info.uat@Leadsquared.com.

03. UAT Account can be activated from Tenant Management Tool for a particular Time frame.

04. It is recommended not to use more than 2-5 Rules/Automation active at a moment since UAT environment is in beta stage currently.

05. UAT account can now be refreshed by customers themselves. A new tab can be seen under settings> Manage UAT Sync.
