Problem Statement:
The customer wants to understand the logic behind the Lead Access View. For example, in the Sales Group – Team Noida, there are only 10 sales users. However, when checking the Lead Access View for a user (e.g., Sukhvir Singh), it shows 120 users under Team Noida.
Resolution:
The reason for the discrepancy in the Lead Access View is that some members of the Sales Group – Team Noida are also assigned as managers for other groups. When a user is designated as a manager for additional groups, they automatically inherit access to the leads and users within those groups as well.
As a result, although the Noida sales group itself has only 10 members, the Lead Access View shows a much larger number (e.g., 120 users for Sukhvir Singh), because it includes users from other groups where these members hold managerial roles.
This behavior is by design, as managerial access extends beyond the immediate group to ensure visibility and control over the teams they manage.
