< 1 min read

Problem Statement:
Disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for a specific user.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
Disabling 2FA for a specific user is supported and is the expected behavior within the system.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate to Settings

  2. Go to Users and Permissions

  3. Select the user for whom you want to disable 2FA

  4. Click the gear icon (⚙️) next to the user

  5. Click on “Disable 2FA”

Note: If the “Disable 2FA” option is not visible, it may be due to role-based restrictions.

Corrective Action:

If you’re unable to see the “Disable 2FA” option:

  • Contact the Billing Team

  • Request them to enable the 2FA control at the role level

  • Once enabled, the “Disable 2FA” option will be visible in the user’s details page
