Resolution

1. Check Location Services #

Ensure that location services are enabled on your device.

  • iOS:
    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Tap Privacy.
    3. Tap Location Services.
    4. Make sure Location Services is turned on.
  • Android:
    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Tap Location.
    3. Make sure Location is turned on.

2. App Permissions #

Verify that the app has permission to access your location.

  • iOS:
    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Scroll down to the app in question and tap it.
    3. Tap Location.
    4. Select While Using the App or Always.
  • Android:
    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Tap Apps or App Management.
    3. Find and tap the app.
    4. Tap Permissions.
    5. Ensure Location is granted.

3. Restart Your Device #

Sometimes a simple restart can resolve location issues.

  1. Turn off your device.
  2. Wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.

4. Check Internet Connection #

A stable internet connection is often required for location services.

  • Ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi or have a good cellular data connection.
  • Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if the issue persists.

5. Update the App #

Make sure the app is updated to the latest version.

  • iOS:
    1. Open the App Store.
    2. Tap your profile picture at the top right.
    3. Scroll down to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to the app if available.
  • Android:
    1. Open the Google Play Store.
