CNAM Request for CTM | US Specific

Request:
CNAM/Caller ID Change request for tracking numbers via CTM. 

Elaboration of the request:
To change the Tracking Name to a registered caller ID: 

Primary Solution:

Submitting the CNAM change request in Trust Center

  1. Go to Numbers →  Trust Center →  verify if a Business Registration has been submitted → If showing a status of Approved,  click the View Button
  2. Next, make sure phone numbers are assigned as shown in the image below. 
  3. Scroll down to CNAM Outbound Caller Name
  4. Next, click on Manage Caller Name. If this is a new request,  click the New CNAM button on the right-hand side of the top of the screen.  
  5. Scroll down to Select Tracking Numbers.  

  6. Ensure the phone numbers are on the left then click on each number to populate in the right column.
  7. At the top of the page enter the 15 characters you want to display.
Alternate Solution:
  • This is not a routine task and is subject to carrier approval. Once submitted to the central CNAM registry, it may take several weeks for carriers to adopt the updates.
  • If you want to change the CNAM for a Tracking Number and fast track the activity; raise a ticket to info@calltrackingmetrics.com Add CNAM Change Request | <CTM Acc. No.> | <Carrier> as the Subject Line.   In the description, list the Tracking Numbers and provide the CNAM or Caller ID you would like to use, up to 15 characters.
