Issue: For a few inbound texts, the activity has been registered to the previous owner whereas the telephony number is to the newer/current owner.
Observation:
The owner’s inbound message depends on the last outbound message sent to the lead.
The system searches the user associated with the “From” number and makes it the activity owner. If no user is associated with the number, the lead owner becomes the activity owner.
For lead 1 – Sahar Muhawesh, “From” number in last outbound message: +1-985******* , Sent on: 11 Jan
This From number was likely associated with Amy Guidry when the message was sent. The outbound message owner becomes Amy Guidry.
When the inbound message was received on 29 Jan, the system checked the activity owner of the last outbound message and made it the activity owner in the inbound message.
So Amy Guidry becomes activity owner
For lead 2 – Nia Jupiter, the “From” number in the last outbound message: +1-337********, trigger source = automation, sent on: 15 Jan
The From number is associated with Carla Fontenot. The outbound message owner becomes Carla Fontenot.
When the inbound message was received on 29 Jan, it was received on a different number: +198********.
As this is a different conversation, the system checks the user associated with 198******** and makes it the activity owner. It is likely that Amy Guidry was associated with the number.
So Amy Guidry becomes the activity owner.
