Task Organiser Receiving Task Notification Emails.

Hi Team,

I came across an issue where the task organizer was receiving notification emails for the tasks and as per good practice when the task organizers are always kept to one of the admin users so that if the task is not being completed on time then the organizer can change the task owners and ask the other users to complete it, but there is a disadvantage of being the Task Organiser – “You will keep on receiving the Notification Emails whenever any things change in the task“.

The Email Subject will have Updated Keyword which means the emails are triggered because the Task was updated.

The organizer’s Mailbox may look like this.

Please note these are not reminder emails so unchecking the Reminder check-box in the task will not resolve the issue.



You will need to go to this page https://in21.leadsquared.com/Settings/AppointmentTaskType and un-check the option mentioned in the below-screenshot.



This will block the emails to the organizers.

Please note that the reminders will be sent by-default if the due-date of the task is changed, This is the default behavior of our system and cannot be changed.
