ISSUE – When we add an opportunity field with the display name ‘Comment’, it will show the below error and not let you create the opportunity field.
Findings – This is because ‘Comment’ is a system-reserved field with schema name “mx_Custom_19” under “Opportunity Status” which is used to capture ‘Comment’ on stage change. This field will not appear in UI as an Opportunity field. On the Opportunity details page, it will be seen under Status only (PFB screenshots for your reference). Hence, it will throw an error and not let you create a field with the same Display name.
