# Read only fields not updating in Forms

Thank you for contacting Leadsquared Support!
Please Enable ‘Apply set value rule actions on read-only fields’ in additional settings of the form.
**NOTE** - If a field is made read only and then a set-value rule is being executed to update its value, it does not set the value.
