# Does Between Operator In Automations Include Boundary Ranges?

A while back we handled a case where the customer's query was regarding the 'between' operator for **If / Else Card** in automations, where the client's concern was whether the between operator includes the boundary ranges, or one of them, or neither (excludes them) when a numeric range is provided.

![](https://static.zohocdn.com/zoho-desk-editor/static/images/file.png)**Solution:**![](https://static.zohocdn.com/zoho-desk-editor/static/images/info.png)Upon checking with our Automation team, we found the answer to be that ***the "Between" operator will include the boundary ranges too.*** If the condition says Between 6 and 10 then it will be evaluated to **True** when the values are 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.
