# Dedup Logic not working for fixed entity values

The dedup logic would not work for static values until the "ShouldSkipStaticSubRuleForDedup" is enabled by the DevOps Team for the older accounts.

**Sample Case:**

Dedup logic is configured with static values in the account and not mail merge values. PFB the screenshot:

When we are going against the lead and adding 'Credit Opportunity' with the status as 'Won', the following error is being thrown:

Although this does not fulfill the dedup logic.

Hence, we should get the "ShouldSkipStaticSubRuleForDedup" enabled by the DevOps Team in such cases to avoid this error.
